Welcome to the beautiful Caribbean islands of Antigua & Barbuda – our island home. Your Antigua sailing holiday is a very special experience for so many reasons; white sand beaches with just a cluster of boats at anchor, historical sites dotted around the islands and a ‘step back in time’ pace to life that is hard to find anywhere else in the Caribbean. These are islands where the ocean is as blue as you can imagine, goats and chickens roam free and the villages still have their Friday night cook-up and their weekend lime. We have a wonderful blog and also a gallery so that you too can share in this tropical paradise.
From Antigua, we welcome you to sail to our sister island of Barbuda. A ‘Robinson Crusoe” island with a population of just 1,500 people – mostly fishermen – and a couple of laid-back lobster shacks on the beach. The biggest population here is the hundreds of frigate birds who have made the lagoon their home and it is now one of the largest sanctuaries in the world. Sailing time between Antigua and Barbuda is just 4 – 5 hours; a perfect sailing reach. You can read more about our sailing area here and take a look at our sample itineraries; from short trips to one way charters.
Combine all of this with the steady trade winds, virtually no tidal range, year round temperatures of 26 degrees (78F), and you have found your sailing paradise on an Antigua sailing holiday.
